Privacy Policy

This policy covers the fliiick website and apps. The current service is a free game using FP. FP cannot be purchased or redeemed for money, cryptocurrency, goods or services. We do not collect payment-card details or identity documents for this FP service.

Account data includes your account ID, email, sign-in provider identifiers, username, avatar, country and time zone where supplied or determined by the service. Apple or Google may supply profile information when you choose their sign-in service. Apple can provide a private relay email instead of your personal email.

We determine your country from your internet connection, or from your device's time zone when the connection does not show it, and save it on your profile as a two-letter country code, never a precise location. It decides which local leaderboard you appear on. We also record on your account that you agreed to the Terms of Service, the time that record was made and a label for the Terms version; Settings shows the date.

We store FP balances and activity, predictions, game results, rewards, badges, friends and follows, referral codes and who invited you, Squad membership, messages, polls, posts, shared markets, questions you create and other content you post. We use these records to run accounts, social features, games and leaderboards and to resolve errors or abuse. Content displayed to other people depends on the feature and its audience. Do not put sensitive personal information in public content.

Other signed-in members can see your predictions on public questions in Discover, with your username and avatar: the question, the side you chose, the FP you put in and your entry price, and, once a prediction settles, whether it won and how much FP it won or lost.

If you apply to become a creator, we store your creator handle, the social media accounts and links you list, your pitch and our decision. Operators who review applications see them with your username and email.

When market chat is enabled, signed-in members can read the messages and usernames posted in each public market conversation. Reports and removed originals are available only to authorized moderators for handling and appeals. Market-chat blocks hide messages between the two accounts across market conversations; they do not block Squad conversations. Old device-only market notes are not imported or published.

Hosting and authentication systems process network and security information such as IP addresses, request times, browser information and error logs to deliver and protect the service. If you turn on notifications, we store your browser's push subscription with the description your browser gives of itself (such as its name, version and operating system) or, in the iPhone app, the device's push token and the app's ID, and in both cases the language for your notifications. They are deleted when you sign out on that device, turn notifications off or delete your account, and when Apple or your browser reports that they no longer work. Notification text, such as the name of a member who messaged you, passes through Apple's or your browser's push service. Support messages include the information you choose to send.

Separately from optional analytics, our database keeps a daily count of which features each account used, such as making a prediction or playing a game, without any content. Operators use these counts to see how the product is used.

If you report a message, profile or Discover post, we store your report, its reason, any details you add and a private copy of the reported content as it was at that moment. When a moderator removes content, or a message matches our moderation word lists, we keep the original privately as evidence and other members no longer see it. Names, posts and other public text that match those lists are not accepted. The author gets a notice in Settings and can appeal each decision once; we keep the notice, the appeal and our reply. If we suspend an account, we record the internal reason, any note shown to the member, the start and end dates and the operator who acted. Only authorized moderators and operators can see the evidence and internal reasons. You can see the status of reports you file, and the person you report is never shown who reported them.

With your analytics consent, we measure visible active time, navigation and selected button actions, how you sign up or sign in, the onboarding steps you complete, the topic you pick there and whether you add fliiick to your Home Screen, and the IDs and categories of questions you open or choose to predict, with the side you choose and, for a prediction made in the Feed, its price, FP amount and the FP it could win. Operators can view aggregate reports or filter them by an account ID. We do not record keystrokes, form values, chat content or screen recordings. These reports help us understand product use; they do not automatically place predictions or trigger personalized prompts.

Usage analytics is off by default. If you enable it in Settings or the Cookie Policy page, PostHog receives selected page and feature events, basic browser and device information, and your account ID when signed in. We do not attach your email, display name, message text, search text or full page URLs to these events, and we ask PostHog not to look up your location from your IP address. Session recording is disabled. Account-linked analytics is personal data, not anonymous data.

You can turn analytics off at any time on the same device. This stops future collection; it does not erase events already received by the analytics provider. Contact support for a data-deletion request. Browser Sentry error reporting is currently disabled. Essential hosting and security logs are separate from this optional setting.

If you allow an AI conversation, we send the questions you submit and selected market context to Anthropic (Claude) to generate a reply. Use AI data sharing in the conversation to stop future sharing. fliiick asks again in each new conversation and does not save your questions or the replies. Verified public market text may be processed by Anthropic or MyMemory for translation, depending on the configured service. Private or unverified market text is not automatically sent to those translators; an existing translation or the original text is shown instead. Do not put personal or sensitive information in AI prompts or market text. Provider retention and processing terms apply separately from device storage.

Vercel hosts the website and API. Supabase provides authentication, database, storage and realtime services. Apple and Google handle sign-in when selected; PostHog handles optional analytics when enabled; Apple's push service and your browser's push service deliver notifications you turn on. These providers process the data needed for their functions, which may involve processing outside your country. External links and content providers have their own privacy practices.

Our servers fetch market questions and prices from Polymarket, Kalshi and Manifold, and cover photos and videos from Pexels, without sending them your personal information. Your device loads Pexels photos and videos directly from Pexels, the Markets page loads its stock cover photos directly from Unsplash, and the Feed connects your device directly to Polymarket's public price feed for live prices, so Pexels, Unsplash and Polymarket receive your IP address and basic device information.

We may disclose information when required by applicable law or to investigate abuse and protect users. Sharing a card or link through another app sends the content you select to that app. Anyone who receives or copies your shared content may retain it independently of fliiick.

When you open a share card, fliiick creates a public page for it at fliiick.com/verify, which anyone with the serial number printed on the card can open. The page is created even if you close the card without sharing it. It shows what the card prints: your username, avatar, tier, status, any streak marker, your referral code, the date the card was made and its numbers, and, for cards about your calls, the market questions and the sides you called. It stays until the card is withdrawn at your request to support or your account is deleted. A withdrawn card's page no longer opens, but the card's record stays with your account until the account is deleted.

fliiick uses YouTube API Services to show YouTube videos with markets. Our servers use these services to find public videos from YouTube channels and store public details such as each video's ID, title, channel and publish date so the right video appears with a market. We do not send your personal information to the YouTube API, and we do not ask for access to your YouTube or Google account through it.

When a video or its preview image appears, your device loads it from YouTube and plays it in YouTube's own player, so Google receives your IP address and device information and may store or read cookies or similar data on your device. YouTube's player may also show other content, including advertisements, that fliiick does not choose. By using fliiick's YouTube features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). The Google Privacy Policy (http://www.google.com/policies/privacy) describes how Google uses this information. If you signed in to fliiick with Google, you can remove fliiick's access at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions; this does not delete your fliiick account, which you can delete in Settings.

You can edit your profile and delete your account in Settings. Deletion removes your account and the records linked to it, including your profile, FP history, predictions, game entries, messages, posts, share cards, creator applications, push tokens, the reports you filed, and reports, notices, appeals and suspensions about you. Open markets or games may require cancellation, settlement or refunds to other participants as part of that process. Apple-linked accounts require verification and revocation of the Apple authorization. A failed deletion is reported so you can retry or contact support.

Some records remain after deletion. Replies in which other members quoted your messages keep the quoted text and your username. Game and market cards that other members posted in a Squad keep your username and account ID with your moves, stakes and results. Notifications already delivered to other members can include your username. Squad questions you created stay, without your name, for the members who took part. Our operators' log of actions on accounts and content keeps the account or item concerned, the operator's reason and what the action changed, such as a question's text or a suspension's dates and note. The daily feature counts described above are not removed. Some of our server records of games, draws and the house pool keep your account ID without your username, as do records of your most recent attempts to join a Squad. If we ever changed your username to resolve a duplicate, the record of that change keeps your account ID and both usernames.

Apart from the cases described in this policy, we do not yet delete these records on a fixed schedule; they are kept while your account exists. Operational records, security logs and backup copies may remain subject to provider retention and applicable legal requirements. Data already shared outside fliiick is not removed by deleting your account. Contact support to ask about access, correction, deletion or the retention of specific data, including data already sent to analytics. We may need to verify that the request concerns your account.

fliiick is intended for people aged 18 or older. The age confirmation is a user declaration, not identity verification. We use authentication, access controls and encrypted network connections, but no service can guarantee absolute security. We update this page when our data practices change.
